Donations to the Komen for the Cure are a vital part of our fundraising efforts and often a very personal way for individuals and organizations to join the fight against breast cancer by remembering or celebrating those they love that have been affected by the disease.
Gifts in Memoriam or Celebration
When you make a donation, you will receive an acknowledgement for tax purposes. If your gift is in memoriam or in celebration of someone, we can also send a personalized tribute card to the person or family you are honoring and, if you prefer, we can simply note the thoughtful donation without revealing the amount or the donor. All gifts to the Komen for the Cure are tax deductible to the full extent the law allows. All donations are considered unrestricted funds and will be used to support breast cancer education, screening and treatment programs within North Central Alabama, as well as, national research to find a cure.
