Komen North Central Alabama is dedicated to the message of early detection and to providing as many resources to our local communities as possible.

To truly eradicate breast cancer, we must not only invest in research for a cure for future generations, but we must also help meet the immediate breast health needs of women and their families facing the disease today. In addition to raising funds for breast health programs for underserved women in our 38 counties, the North Central Alabama Affiliate also operates an extensive Education and Outreach program to educate and raise awareness among ALL families that EARLY DETECTION SAVES LIVES. When the disease is confined to the breast, the 5-year survival rate is over 98%.

*Materials will be limited to 100 per organization (50 in the month of September and October), but are also available for free download

Request a Speaker or Health Fair Representative

 A great way to bring the message of breast health to your friends, co-workers and family is to request a Komen speaker to come to your office, home or religious organization. We do our best to provide speakers and materials at health fairs and other events when requested; however we cannot guarantee these services. Submitting your request as far in advance as possible increases the chance of availability for your event as we rely heavily on our volunteer database. We request that you submit your request at least 3 weeks from your event date.
