Susan G. Komen for the Cure is a volunteer driven organization dedicated to fulfilling our Promise:  To save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality of care for all and energizing science to find the cures.  Komen credits it's success to the many outstanding volunteers who share their energy, ideas, talents and enthusiasm in the fight against breast cancer.  The Komen North Central Alabama Affiliate offers hundreds of volunteer opportunities each year from Race for the Cure®, special events, office help, fundraising, education, public relations, finance and much more!  Whether  you are looking for a year-round commitment or a one-time event, the Komen North Central Alabama Affiliate has a place for you.

Join us - in the office answering phones, entering data on spreadsheets, stuffing envelopes....
Join us - at our educational events:  registering attendees, setting up, handing out materials....
Join us - at fundraising events: setting up auctions, handing out name badges
Join us - at community health fairs handing out educational materials....
Join us - once a week, once a month, once a year; whatever is best for you - but please JOIN US!

Once we receive your application you will begin to receive updates via email from Komen North Central Alabama about various volunteer opportunities available! If you are interested in the event or job description you will simply correspond with our Volunteer Chair or you can even view opportunities on our website.
