Thank you for your interest in the North Central Alabama grants program.
There are two types of funding options offered by our affiliate. The North Central Alabama Affiliate Community Grants Program provides funding to non-profit organizations that offer education, treament and screening to local residents. The Small Grants program primarily funds pilot projects or support programs, travel scholarships, or conference grants. The funds for these wonderful projects are generated from donations, and events like the Race for the Cure. All projects are selected based on the Community Profile; an in-depth look at the state of breast cancer in north central Alabama. It identifies the breast cancer screening, treatment, and education needs of our communities. To read the 2011 Community Profile, click here: 2011 Breast Health Community Assessment.
