Join us for Worship in Pink Weekend, Saturday, August 25 and Sunday, August 26, 2012!!

Worship in Pink (WIP) Weekend is a great opportunity for Birmingham-area churches, mosques and synagogues throughout north central Alabama to spread the life-saving message of early detection and honor their communities' survivors.  Organizations are encouraged to make the day, or weekend, a celebration of survivors and co-survivors. Some organizations host a special luncheon for survivors, encourage their congregation to wear pink, or invite survivors to speak about their experiences! 

Participating organizations will receive a free Ambassador’s Toolkit which includes: 

• A suggested script to use during services
• A sample bulletin announcement and WIP poster
• A list of programming ideas
• Breast health information (maximum 100)
• Pink ribbons OR pink beads (maximum of 100)
• Pink ribbon-shaped fans (maximum of 100)

In order to recieve a toolkit, organizations must register for Worship in Pink by August 16, 2012.  To register, have your WIP Ambassador click the button below.  WIP packets may be picked up one week after the Ambassador completes the online registration form.  We are located at 1909 27th Avenue South, Homewood, AL 35209.  These materials are also available for download below.
